Summit Objectives

The 3G and beyond Wireless technology summit is designed for the wireless professionals such as technical managers, product managers and engineers. Professionals in the wireless value chain such as application developers, Mobile terminal developers, operators, Infrastructure developers will benefit from this summit. We have 10 speakers in 2 sessions. There are two panel discusions discussing the various 3G and WLAN technologies and mobile multimedia end-to-end solutions. We will have an open discussions on the technical merits and current status of various wireless technologies. In the first session, the speakers cover range of issues in the radio access network, the core network and the backhaul and discuss a range of wireless systems such as GPRS/EDGE/WACDMA, WLAN, UMTS core, 3G backhaul and fianlly we will have a panel discussion discussing the future of 3G and beyond technologies.

The second session will be on the Mobile multimedia end-to-end solutions. We will have presentations on the future mobile information appliances, Terminal IP and protocol stack, wireless web application development challenges, mobile multimedia applications -business perspective and finally a panel discussion focusing on mobile multimedia ofeering challenges -technical and business
